What previous participants say about the Strength in Community Workshops.

To see myself as an entrepreneur felt much stronger and powerful. Before I was an editor who needed to do some business stuff to survive. But I sort of shifted. I still see myself as an editor, but I no longer introduce myself as a freelancer or self-employed – [now it’s] as an entrepreneur. That infused me with new creativity…It’s just shifted how I saw myself, which made me able to do what I do much better and more effectively and just enjoy it more.”SCW Participant 2023

“My confidence has grown, personally and businesswise. Geraldine taught me to think, “What if something amazing happens?” instead of “What if they say no?” – SCW Participant 2023

About the SCW Program

For entrepreneurs, the journey towards success can be challenging. Many find it daunting to establish a brand that authentically connects with their audience and communicates their mission effectively, leaving them grappling with inconsistent brand identity and messaging.

In a competitive business environment, understanding the importance of connecting customer needs with solutions and aligning one’s purpose with your audience can be overwhelming. In Communicating to Connect you’ll get tools to clarify and simplify that process for you.

You will meet and connect with other entrepreneurs virtually in a coach-facilitated, small-group setting for 2-1/2 hours once a week over five consecutive weeks. Each workshop will be interactive, engaging, and conversational. It’s an opportunity to work on your business.

SCW Workshops are not recorded to maintain optimum confidentiality for you and the group.

An Overview of the Five Workshops:

Workshop 1 – Build Your Brand

Explore the art of building your brand through the lens of your purpose and values. Learn how to create a compelling and impactful narrative that resonates with your audience on a deeper level by communicating who you are and why you do what you do. Hone your ability to communicate your values and purpose with authenticity, conviction, and clarity. Your brand’s success begins with your purpose –make it shine.

Workshop 2 – Elevate Your Pitch

Uncover the keys to elevating and refining your pitch by bridging the gap between your customers’ needs and the solutions you and your business provide.  At the core, pitching is relational before it is transactional. It’s about making an authentic connection and communicating clearly how your product or service addresses the real-world problems your audience faces. Develop a pitch that is authentic and engaging and leads to deeper connections that will grow your business.

Workshop 3 – Spark Opportunity

Learn how to use discovery meetings as part of your business development and market research. Navigate these critical interactions with finesse, gaining insights that drive your business strategies and refine your offerings. Build the confidence to seize opportunities, strengthen meaningful relationships, and harness your pitch to achieve your specific entrepreneurial objectives.

Workshop 4 – Connecting in a Digital World

Discover how to create meaningful connections and expand your networks within your digital communities. Explore approaches for identifying and connecting with like-minded individuals, industry professionals, and potential collaborators. Learn how to initiate and nurture relationships in the online space to foster mutual growth and opportunities. Identify actionable steps you can take to strengthen and cultivate an invested community.

Workshop 5 – Thriving: ToGetHer Stronger
