The Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WECM), Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP), and Community Futures Manitoba have collaborated to create a travel guide featuring Manitoba women in business.

Supporting local small businesses is at the heart of the work we do, and these virtual adventures gave us an opportunity to highlight our incredible clients. Snapshot #1 | J’em Bistro | St-Pierre-Jolys

J’em Bistro is the culmination of all entrepreneur Josée Curé’s passions – teaching, baking, cooking, event planning, and hosting. Her business has grown over the years to include not only a restaurant in Le Musée St. Pierre but also workshops, online classes, a storefront, and soon, year-round accommodations and guided fishing excursions.

Nothing says summer quite like a fresh flower bouquet. Strawberry Lane Flowers is a cut flower farm that supplies bulk blooms for events in addition to subscription bouquet services. You might also find owner Kirsten van der Linde selling her gorgeous flowers at the St. Norbert Farmers’ Market on Saturdays throughout the summer months.
