Ritchot, Ste. Anne and Taché Regions 

Located in Treaty 1 territory and situated in the Southeast region of Manitoba just beyond the Winnipeg perimeter, the RMs of Ritchot, Ste. Anne and Taché are home to a growing community of women entrepreneurs. Along with one of their most known attractions, the longitudinal centre of Canadabe sure to add these additional stops to your upcoming #exploreMB travels. 






Stop #1 Long Way Homestead (Ste. Genevieve, MB) 

When Anna Hunter and her husband Luke Palka moved to Manitoba, they brought their passion for connecting people with local food and clothing production. Their 140-acre farm Long Way Homestead in Ste. Genevieve, MB is a fibre farm and wool mill, a sustainable habitat for many wild species, and home to hands-on experiential workshops and farm tours. 





Stop #2 Vicky’s Drive Inn (Ste. Anne, MB) 

If you have a craving for homemade fresh burgers and fries then you will want to make a stop at Vicky’s Drive Inn located in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. This local staple of over 20 years is family-owned and currently run by Sotiria Ramantanis. For the month of August, a portion of proceeds of all ice cream sales will go to support Stars Rescue on the Island Ste. Anne’s participant, Sarah Normandeau. 




Stop #3 Sweet Petals Farm (Howden, MB) 

Our final stop brings us to a flower farm and apiary owned by Terry Neufeld and located just South of Winnipeg in Howden, MBSweet Petals Farm offers a multitude of local products and experiences for visitors to enjoySome summer favourites include booking garden tour or registering for one of their bouquet workshops.
