Job Opportunity – Finance & Administration Manager

Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WECM) is a non-profit organization that delivers a wide range of business resources and supports to women-owned and led businesses in Manitoba.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Operations & Stakeholder Engagement, we are currently looking to fill the position of Finance & Administration Manager. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about supporting Manitoba women successfully start, operate, and grow their own business.

Your Role

As WECM transitions their Accounting and Finance functions from being outsourced to fully integrated in-house, this newly created position plays a critical role in the organization’s success. On a day-to-day basis, your role reports to the Director of Operations & Stakeholder Engagement. With respect to projects and annual audit activities, your role works closely with and takes direction from the CEO. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions as well as financial management. In addition, you will be responsible for compliance as it relates to Human Resources. This is a key role in supporting the strategic growth and development of WECM in a non-profit setting.
