The Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WECM) is a well-known non-profit in the downtown area. We are seeking an experienced Client Services and Office Administrator able to work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a positive attitude and well developed time-management skills.
The position requires a solid understanding of database management with expertise to make recommendations for process improvement. The ability to manage the Centre’s existing IT and AV systems and to train staff on proper use of technology applications to achieve the Centre’s communication and training goals is key to success. The position also oversees website content management and handles the Centre’s online registration and back-end client tracking platforms.
The Client Services and Office Administrator assists the CEO and relevant management staff by providing timely and accurate business continuity documentation, maintaining office equipment, inventory supply management, making travel and meeting arrangements, and negotiating ongoing vendor supply and maintenance relationships in a positive manner.
Qualifications include education and/or experience in business and customer service, office coordination and team support. Required skills will include:
Familiarity with standard business hardware, software and telephony;
Understanding of technology solutions to basic IT and AV issues;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English; French would be considered an asset;
Effective time management, organizational and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work independently with refined analytical skills;
Proven technical aptitude and ability to adjust priorities quickly;
Ability to work flexible hours on occasion when needed including but not limited to evening meetings.
The position is full-time and reports to the CEO and the Director of Communications and Client Services.
