WBENC Conference & Business Fair – Baltimore, Maryland June 25-27, 2019

Register by April 2, 2019 to receive the early bird rate.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs. It hosts a large business fair every June in a U.S. city (this year: Baltimore). The international event attracts approximately 3,500 women business owners and 400-500 U.S. and global multi-national corporations.

If your goal is to sell to larger corporations such as Cargill, General Mills, Staples or Starbucks, the WBENC Business Fair provides the opportunity to start making connections, developing relationships and learning how to become a supplier to large corporations. It’s set up like a reverse trade show – the corporations have the booths and the women business owners make their way around the trade show to visit the corporations they are interested in working with.

The WBENC Conference and Business Fair is a supplier diversity event. In this case, that means it provides opportunity for majority women-owned businesses (51% or more women-owned and controlled).

  • Tuesday June 25 – WBENC Conference
  • Wednesday June 26 – WBENC Business Fair

In addition to the WBENC Conference and Business Fair, participants are encouraged to consider these additional events held during the three days before:

  • Sunday June 23 – Welcome Reception for Canadian women business owners
  • Monday June 24 – WEConnect International Day
  • Tuesday June 25 – WBE Canada Breakfast with Brands
  • Tuesday June 25 – BWIT Evening Reception with Corporations

As you can see, there are a lot of events during the week. If you are interested in participating in any or all of these events, please email me and I will walk you through the process to ensure you capitalize on all the opportunities available to you.
