Description

Ande Brown is a mixed media artist and welder who enjoys incorporating both traditional craftsmanship with new technologies into her art. Her work combines a background in geospatial digital technology with her passion for maps, travel, adventure and human connection.

i-co globes are a 20-sided representation of the world made from a variety of materials including wood, metal, leather, paper and acrylic.

Her work was featured in the Spring/Summer 2020 issue of Studio Magazine, and in the Winnipeg Free Press, July 2020 and in January 2021, “Reconnect with fascinating people featured in 2020”.
Her work is displayed at the Winnipeg Art Gallery Shop and in the C2 Centre for Craft in Winnipeg, MB.
