It was a lucky day in 2016 when the Centre and Stacey were matched for a co-op placement. Things went so well that when she returned to classes, she stayed on a part-time basis. With a double major in Marketing and International Business in the Asper School of Business Co-op Program at the University of Manitoba and having worked with a number of entrepreneurs in the past, it was a natural fit. Since joining the WECM team, Stacey has been involved with day-to-day activities at the Centre and several important projects. In addition to assisting the client services team and working on the Centre’s marketing, she supports the Women’s Enterprise Organizations of Canada initiative and was a huge part of SHEday 2017 planning and delivery. If you can’t find Stacey at the Centre or enjoying the outdoors, she might be playing piano or preparing for the 2018 Jeux du Commerce West (JDC West) Business Competition as part of Team Toba’s Not-for-Profit team.
