Presence and Profile: Amplify Your Story, Grow Your Business

Join master storyteller Cate Friesen for an interactive, three-part series designed to help grow your brand by discovering and crafting your signature story. Whether you are a solo consultant, a bricks and mortar business or somewhere in between, this session has been designed for women entrepreneurs. Cate delivers customized sessions that guide you through leveraging mainstream and social media and building presence through creative partnerships. Over the course of three weeks, you will be exposed to best practices, get hands-on experience, acquire tools and resources, and leave with a sustainable action plan specifically for your business.

“I loved the fresh way of looking at how our stories and the way we tell them are amazingly impactful on our business and professional dealings.”

  • Session One: Make Your Story Work for You – Discover, craft and practice delivering the stories that authentically connect you and your business with potential customers/community.
  • Session Two: Connect with Impact – Learn the basics about a media release and gather tips for making the most out of a media interview. Explore the best social media and online platforms for your business, and the strategies for implementation.
  • Session Three: Leveraging Creative Partnerships – Explore other avenues to raise your visibility such as speaking opportunities, effective sponsorships, becoming the ‘go to expert’, or writing a column. By the end of the series you will have developed a plan that is tailored to your business, speaks to your strengths and authentic story, and perhaps most importantly is actionable and manageable.

To maximize learning and individual consultation, the class is limited to 15 participants.
