Bev Suek, the director of TLS Enterprises, was awarded Queen's Diamond Jubilee Award for outstanding service to the community. Over the years, Bev has worked extensively with women's organizations including the Birth Centre, Women's Enterprise Centre of Manitoba and SDB Housing Co-op. She was a founding member of Kali Shiva, which provides services to people with AIDS and served as president of Riverview Community Centre.
Congratulations to Barb Gamey, President of Payworks Inc. and former Board Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba. On November 28, Barb won 2012 Momentum Award at the 20th annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards dinner in Toronto. The Momentum Award recognizes women entrepreneurs whose companies have overcome challenges and achieved at least three consecutive years of revenue growth of 10 per cent or more.
