Marketing I (Workshop 3)

Description
This two-part session covers the strategic and tactical aspects of marketing your business. You will explore a number of marketing approaches and begin work on your own marketing plan. Emphasis will be placed on developing a pricing strategy for your product or service.

Nancy Brommell, Business Advisor
Biography
An experienced business professional with an entrepreneurial approach, Nancy was a Business Development Specialist with the Province of Manitoba before joining the Women’s Enterprise Centre team in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Human Ecology from the University of Manitoba and has completed training in business counselling and accounting. In addition to assisting hundreds of women start and grow their businesses, Nancy was instrumental in the development of the Women’s Business Network in Southeast Manitoba. Over the years, she has developed and delivered a variety of sessions for women entrepreneurs and through her own contract training business, has taught marketing courses to students in the Business Administration diploma course at Red River College.

Parking
There is ample parking in lots and at meters close to the Centre. Watch for no stopping zones and no-parking meters during morning rush hour (7 - 9 am) and afternoon rush hour (3:30 - 5:30 pm).

All on-street meters are limited to one or two hours on weekdays between 9 am - 5:30 pm.
Meters are free weekdays after 5:30 pm.
The new meters accept all denominations of coins, as well as Visa, Mastercard and American Express. The meter dispenses a receipt to put on the dash of the vehicle.
