We mentioned ‘resolutions’ several times in our last newsletter. All the things we resolve to do in the year coming that we didn’t, somehow manage to master in the year going.
I think we should also have something we do in the changing of the years that is called ‘recognition’. How about recognizing all the things we did right, the challenges we overcame, the wins rather than the losses that we calculate as December rolls into the new January. I’m in favour of creating a list of recognitions that includes the hard things we did, the lessons we learned, the kindnesses we extended and the creative way we dealt with our problems and obstacles.
While it’s always good to make new lists, let’s not forget to celebrate the things we crossed out on the old ones.
Here’s to you and all you’ve done with your lives, your businesses, your families and friends, your community and your world, to make it, and them, better, happier, smarter, richer, cleaner, and abundant.
A toast to our entrepreneurs who, like the princess in Rumpelstiltskin, are always making something out of nothing, gold out of straw and creating value where there was none before.
